Desired Possibilities

If only we walked in a portion of His
Image
fashioned a fraction of His
lineage
Braved a part of His
heritage
Built a minor of His kingdom
village

Yet, we allow mortality to caution us
We endorse fear to paralyze,  thus
children of His image we quench our
abilities
For in Him we do not reach His desired
possibilities

Distance from His Throne room leave us
earthly bound
the unseen of the seen keeps us coveting the
natural realm
Faith is foolish to them whom disbelieve
Evidence they desire before they receive

Limit ourselves from His approach
How dare He rebuke, reproach?
Turn our backs
from eternal plan
Commit our way to sinful man

Mortal man and our pride
Missing out on Gods richest bride
the design He had, we crushed,
denied
Thankful He gave another whom complied

Clothed in divinity, He undressed
to dress Himself in humanities
wrest
